Get to Know Our Team - February Spotlight

Over the course of this year, we are highlighting the incredible team members that make us who we are as Beyer Brown. In the past few years, we have expanded and embraced the idea of working remotely, and hiring in many different areas. As such, over half of our team is located outside of Orlando! We wanted to help put faces to names, and showcase our team and all the areas where they work! If you haven’t had a chance to meet our first four team members we highlighted last month, check out their team spotlight! In our second monthly Get to Know us series, we’re highlighting four Beyer Brownies with some bite-size facts about them.

Yes! 3. I have a border collie/newfie mix named Oliver who is 11, a snowshoe cat Fiona who is 6, and an orange Persian cat named Marigold who is 2

The community! It’s a big industry but still feels small.

What has been one of your favorite projects you have worked on?
Westin LAX. It was a challenging project with many ups and downs, but the team was fantastic, and collaborating with them made for a rewarding experience.

A favorite memory at Beyer Brown?
There are too many to count! If I must narrow it down, my favorite memory would have to be the 2023 Christmas party. It was such a special occasion when the entire Beyer Brown team flew in from out of town. Having everyone together in one place, celebrating the holiday season, and strengthening those connections was unforgettable.

What do you like most about working at Beyer Brown, or in this industry in general?
I appreciate the dynamic nature of the work and how it’s always evolving, which keeps things interesting and pushes me to grow professionally. I enjoy having the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects and getting to see the results of all the hard work that went into it, it’s incredibly fulfilling! What I love most about working at Beyer Brown is the collaborative and supportive atmosphere. The team feels like a family, and we always come together to overcome challenges and celebrate our achievements.

A favorite memory at Beyer Brown?
Being invited to attend the Orlando and Atlanta NEWH trade shows. That was a great experience for me to get to meet vendors face to face.

What do you like most about working at Beyer Brown, or in this industry in general?
I have worked in hospitality for over 10 years but this has been my first purchasing job so a different side of hospitality. I love seeing all the designers spec packages to see their vision. I also love meeting new people and forming new relationships.
